Already have a controller holder and want to change the mounting location?  Then this is for you!  We have a few different styles of vent clip magnets and our new dash mount magnets available for sale separately here!

***Note:  If you order a controller case and select a mount option on the product listing (other than "None"), you do not need to order the mount from this listing.  This is only if you would like an additional mount or a different mounting option.  

We have 5 variants available:

• Dash Mount V3

  • Uses 3M VHB adhesive with split, rotating base plates to mount to uneven or transitional surfaces.  The extension arm connecting the base to the magnet rotates and swivels to give more flexibility in mounting locations than the V2.1 dash mount.  The V3 arm is longer than the V2.1, so keep that in mind if you don't want your controller sticking too far out from the mounting surface.  The magnet on the V3 mount is the same as the V2.1 mount.  PLEASE READ THE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AS WELL!!!

• Dash Mount V2.1

• Uses 3M VHB adhesive to mount to your dash or other interior surfaces. *** Please see mounting instructions below!*** This mount contains 6 N45 Neodymium magnets and swivels on a ball joint

• Vent - Premium

• This mount clips on your air vent and uses 6 N45 neodymium magnets

• Vent - Standard

• Contains 5 N52 neodymium magnets 

• Vent - Basic

• Contains 4 N52 neodymium magnets (Magnet color may vary) 

Dash Mount Installation Instructions:

This mount works best on flat, smooth, hard interior surfaces.  Please make sure your mounting surface is clean and free of any dust, oil, or other debris. 

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW ALL OF THE SURFACE PREPARATION AND MOUNT INSTALLATION STEPS BELOW!  THE MOUNT WILL FAIL IF THIS IS NOT DONE PROPERLY!  

Step 1: ensure the mounting surface is free of any dust, debris.  Use 50% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean the mounting surface. 

Step 2: When the surface is dry, remove the film on the adhesive and apply the dash mount.

Step 3: Apply pressure for at least 20 seconds along the entire length of the mount, especially at the front and back edges of the mount to prevent peeling.  

Step 4: DO NOT USE THE MOUNT FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS!!! Adhesive bond strength will increase after application. 

If the ambient temperature is below 70℉ (21℃) wait up to 72 hours before using the mount.  

If the mount starts to peel at the edges, applying heat with a hair dryer or low powered heat gun for a few seconds may help.  Do this at your own risk.  We are not responsible for any damage to the mount or your vehicle from overheating the adhesive, mount, or mounting surface!
